About Guy Williams Architecture
Guy Williams Architecture was founded in 1990. It is not a big firm. In fact, it’s just me. And sometimes my wife, who will answer the phone. While I do have over a decade of “big firm” experience, I know that working one-on-one with you, without big office overhead, is the best way to create great architecture that is custom to your needs.
Years of Experience Helping Homeowners
I graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Architecture. Ralph Rapson was the head of the school when I was there and I did have the opportunity to gain valuable insights from him. Over the decades I’ve designed nearly 100 single family homes. I also designed shopping centers, apartment complexes and condo and townhouse developments. My passion is housing.

I believe good architecture can inspire and inform people, often without them even realizing it. The genius of design often lies in nuance; something just “feels right.” Good design has an almost intangible elegance to it, you know it when you see it.

How My Process Works
Email, text or call me to discuss your project.
Together we can ascertain your needs and set up a visit, bundle or get to work.
Bundles are set up and done typically within two weeks. As a solo-practitioner I have a very prompt response time and the flexible working schedule that big firms just can’t offer.
Before you sign up with any contractor, ensure your best interest are taken into account. I work as your advocate to get you the design you want in the budget you set — not the contractor’s bottom line.
